Chairman McCaul Speaks in Support of Bills to Counter Iran on House Floor

Washington, D.C. - Today, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul spoke on the House Floor in support of two bills: H.R. 4691, the Iran Sanctions Relief Review Act of 2023, and H.R. 6046, the Standing Against Houthi Aggression Act. H.R. 6046 would require the State Department to re-designate the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, thereby expanding restrictions against the Houthis terrorizing Yemeni civilians and threatening global commerce. Furthermore, H.R. 4691 would require the executive branch to report to Congress before lifting sanctions on Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.
