TFD Responds to Residential Fire on Barron Road

On Friday, Dec. 3, at 3:37 a.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on Barron Road. TFD arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a single-family home. TFD quickly extinguished the flames and searched the structure. No one was found inside, and there were no reported injuries from the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office and the Tallahassee Fire Department Prevention Division. TFD was assisted on scene by Leon County Sheriff's Office and Leon County EMS.
