Dear Prime Minister Borne,

Please accept my warmest congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of the French Republic.

Singapore and France share a longstanding, multi-faceted and substantive partnership, underpinned by our 2012 Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership. We commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)'s Advanced Jet Training in Cazaux Air Base in 2018. We also renewed our bilateral cultural agreement in 2019 and concluded a Digital and Green Partnership in 2022. Singapore hosts around 2,500 French companies, many of which are active in our key growth sectors. Our countries also share a common vision of a world that embraces rule of law, openness and multilateralism. I look forward to working with you to continue strengthening our relations and advancing our mutual interests, and welcome you to visit Singapore soon.

I wish you good health and every success.

Yours sincerely,

LEE HSIEN LOONG

Her Excellency Elisabeth Borne
Prime Minister
French Republic
