Croatian Telecom successfully qualified for participation in the public auction procedure for assignment of licences for using radio frequency spectrum

Croatian Telecom (Reuters: HT.ZA; Bloomberg: HT CZ), Croatia's leading telecommunications provider, notifies that Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) determined that Croatian Telecom fulfils all necessary conditions for participation in the public auction procedure. Consequently, Croatian Telecom qualified to participate in the public auction procedure at the national level for the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands.

On October 12, 2022, HAKOM initiated the public auction procedure for assignment of licences for using radio frequency spectrum in 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2600 MHz and 3600 MHz radio frequency bands.

Only qualified applicants are allowed to participate in the bidding procedure, making them bidders in the bidding procedure.

The bidding process is scheduled to start on January 16^th, 2023.
