As part of the implementation of its development program, Transneft-Urals has completed large-scale planned work on the Ust-Balyk-Kurgan-Ufa-Almeteyevsk (UBKUA) and Nizhnevatorsk-Kurgan-Kuibyshev (NKK) oil pipelines.
The work was carried out by units from the Tuimazy, Cherkassy, Arlan, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan Oil Pipeline Directorates (OPD), as well as the Specialized Directorate for Emergency Prevention and Response (SDEPR).
In the course of the work, two defects were removed from the technological pipelines of the Kropachevo Line Operation Dispatcher Station (LODS) and three defects were removed from the collector of the main pumping unit at the Yurgamysh LODS. A sampling device was also installed at the Kropachevo LODS, and work was performed on the tap of the PIG trap at the Yurgamysh LODS.
On the UBKUA trunk oil pipeline, a parallel operation collector at the UBKUA Kanashi oil pumping station (PS) was liquidated, one defect was removed and medium-scale repair of a single valve was carried out.
The work was completed in full, within the deadlines established for the operations.
