Department for Transport commissioned Decarbonising recreational vessels in the UK and Europe

The Carbon Trust has released its report on 'Decarbonising recreational vessels in the UK and Europe: roadmap'. The report commissioned by the Department for Transport and theForeign, Commonwealth and Development Office contains research and recommendations from the Carbon Trust to European governments and recreational marine craft businesses on how they can lead the world in decarbonising this sector.

British Marine supported and contributed to the report along with a number of British Marine members and will be reviewing the report over the coming weeks to understand how we can encourage and support our members to benefit from the challenges and opportunities that the decarbonisation of the recreation sector will bring.
