Dallas ISD News: Dallas ISD COVID-19 Update: March 8

NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: March 8, 2021

DALLAS - Dallas ISD is working with Dallas County Health and Human Services to ensure that all district employees will be able to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through Dallas County. The district has also secured a number of vaccines through Parkland Hospital for all certified teachers.

Dallas ISD summer camps
Dallas ISD will offer summer camps focused on improving the whole child's academic and emotional well-being. To help address unfinished learning caused by the pandemic, the summer camps are one Dallas ISD strategy to ensure students don't fall too far behind.

Celebrating National School Breakfast Week
A healthy breakfast is essential to learning, and this week Dallas ISD is excited to kick off National School Breakfast Week with a video message encouraging all students to enjoy a nutritious breakfast. The district's Food and Child Nutrition Services continue to distribute meals every Wednesday.
