Corinth woman facing drug charges after nap in stanger's driveway


On October 18, 2019, State Police in Wilton arrested 58-year-old Donita L. Wiley of Corinth, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor) and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drug (misdemeanor).

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Friday, State Police responded to a residence in Greenfield after the homeowner reported a suspicious vehicle parked at end of their driveway.

When Troopers arrived, they found Wiley asleep in the driver's seat of her vehicle, parked in the driveway. After multiple attempts, Troopers were able to wake Wiley, and while interviewing her they observed multiple indicators of drug use. Wiley was found to be in possession of a plastic straw containing cocaine residue, and a quantity of Diazepam. She also appeared by be impaired.

Wiley was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which she failed, and was taken into custody. She provided a blood sample while SP Wilton.

Wiley was issued an appearance ticket for Greenfield Town Court, she is due to appear October 28, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
