The following is work scheduled to occur on state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot. The schedule of work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, work will take place during daytime hours.

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

The following ramp closures are associated with the project:

· Exit ramp from I-75 southbound to Bluelick Road, Lima, closed Monday, Aug. 19, for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic is detoured onto I-75 southbound, the state Route 81 interchange and I-75 northbound back to Bluelick Road. (see map)· Entrance ramp from Bluelick Road to I-75 southbound, Lima, closed Monday, Aug. 19, for approximately two days for ramp repairs. Traffic is detoured onto I-75 northbound and the Napoleon Road interchange back to I-75 southbound. (see map)

U.S. 30 eastbound at Thayer Road will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the addition of a right-hand turn lane at the intersection. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, closed Wednesday, July 17, for approximately 60 days for the replacement of eight culverts. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 117, state Route 116 and state Route 197 back to state Route 66. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon. (see map)

State Route 81 between Wapak Road and Defiance Trail will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street)over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, closed Monday, July 1, for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure is located within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village's work zone, but traffic is unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. The bridge replacement project is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

State Route 117/state Route 309 (Bellefontaine Avenue) between Elm Street and Shawnee Street, within the city of Lima, will close Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately one week for work related to a railroad grade separation project under the Indiana & Ohio Railroad. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75, Fourth Street, St. Johns Avenue and Pine Street back to state Route 309/state Route 117 (Elm Street). Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge, Sidney, for the city of Lima. For project information, visit www.golima.org.

Seventh Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Moening Street and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) within the city of Delphos, closed Aug. 12 for approximately two months for a bridge replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Moening Street, Sixth Street, and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) back to Seventh Street. Work is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos. Work is being performed by The Eclipse Company, Chagrin Falls.

DEFIANCE COUNTY

For more information regarding the Clinton Street bridge replacement project within the city of Defiance, visit the project website here. The bridge closed Feb. 25 for approximately nine months for a full replacement.

State Route 18 truck route (Meuse Argonne Street) between Elm Street and Main Street, within the village of Hicksville, closed July 29 for approximately eight weeks for a railroad overpass replacement. State Route 18 (Main Street) is unaffected for passenger vehicles, but truck traffic must detour due to a low-clearance overpass on Main Street. Truck traffic must detour onto Elm Street, Meuse Argonne Street, Industrial Drive, state Route 49, and state route 2 back to state Route 18. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 northbound entrance and exit ramps at county Road 99, Findlay, will be minimally affected by an erosion repair project along the ramps. Exit and entrance ramp lanes may be shifted and narrowed slightly around the work zone. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 81 between the western village limits of Ada and township Road 55, within the village of Ada, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 235 between the northern village limits of Ada and state Route 309 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and county Road 75 closed July 1 for approximately 45 days for the replacement of two bridges. The highway is anticipated to open on Friday, Aug. 23, but traffic will be restricted to one lane at times in the area during the week of Aug. 26. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 309 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 701. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay. (see map)

PAULDING COUNTY

U.S. 24 throughout Paulding County may be restricted to one lane in each direction at times through the work zone for embankment repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

State Route 49between the village of Payne and the Van Wert County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

U.S. 127 between county Road 82 and county Road 92, near the village of Latty, closed Tuesday, Aug. 20, for approximately eight days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 114, state Route 637, and state Route 613 back to U.S. 127. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see map)

PUTNAM COUNTY

The following routes in Putnam County will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for berm repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

· State Route 66 between U.S. 224 and the Paulding County line· State Route 108 between state Route 15 and the Henry County line· State Route 115 between the village of Kalida and state Route 15· State Route 613 between the Paulding County line and state Route 15

State Route 108 between Vanbuskirk Street and Railroad Avenue, within the village of Miller City, will close Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately nine days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 613, state Route 109, and state Route 18 back to state Route 108. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see map)

State Route 613 (Main Street) between Ninth Street and 11th Street, within the village of Leipsic, is now open following sink hole repair.

VAN WERT COUNTY

State Route 49 between U.S. 224 and township Road 96, north of the village of Wren, closed Tuesday, Aug. 20, for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto U.S. 33, Indiana state Route 101, and U.S. 224 back to state Route 49. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage. (see map)

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23between county Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by The Shelly Company, Findlay.

U.S. 23 between the Marion County line and state Route 53/state Route 67 will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for guardrail repair. Work is being performed by Lake Erie Construction, Norwalk.

State Route 67 between state Route 53 and the Seneca County line, excluding the village of Sycamore, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a chip seal project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Wyandot County maintenance garage.

State Route 103 just east of state Route 53 closed Monday, July 8, for approximately 45 days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 53 and state Route 67 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by the ODOT Wyandot County maintenance garage. (see map)
