Zalaris sponsors the Team Rynkeby charity cycling to Paris

Zalaris, the provider of payroll and HR solutions that simplify work life and support creating sustainable businesses, is proud to sponsor the Finnish Rynkeby cycling team this year. 'Team Rynkeby - God Morgon' is part of a European charity cycling team heading to Paris every year to raise money for children with critical illnesses.

At the end of May, Anu-Kristiina Holm gave the Team Rynkeby Gold Sponsorship Diploma to Sami Seikkula, Executive Vice-President Zalaris Northern Europe Region, before the cycling team's training in sunny Kirkkonummi, Finland.

In Finland, the funds raised by the Team Rynkeby will be distributed to Aamu Foundation (Finnish Children's Cancer Foundation) and Sylva Association. In 2021, the Finnish 'Team Rynkeby - God Morgon' raised almost one million Euros. Cyclists pay for their own equipment and event costs.

"I don't have an actual previous background in endurance sports or cycling, but I got excited about the project because it combines both charity for an important cause and caring for my own well-being. Joint weekly workouts are a good reason to break a long workday, and regular exercise has given a lot of power to other areas of life as well. The team members cheer for each other; working for an important issue and increasing visibility is very rewarding." says Holm.

In 2022, the Rynkeby charity cycling will involve more than 2,650 cyclists and 600 service personnel from 9 different countries, for a total of 65 teams.
