SAN ANTONIO (May 19, 2022) - The City of San Antonio's eighth-annual SASpeakUp survey on the budget is open for residents to share their feedback with City officials. Feedback collected from the survey will help the Mayor and Council understand and prioritize service needs for the entire community through the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget. The survey is available on SASpeakUp.com or by calling 311. It will remain open through June 30.

"Speak up and share your ideas San Antonio, this budget belongs to you," stated City Manager Erik Walsh. "The survey takes just a few minutes and lets us know what services and programs are most important to you. Your City services include everything from streets and sidewalks, police and fire, animal care, parks, libraries, public health and so much more. This is your chance to tell us what you want the City to prioritize."

Beginning today, the survey is available in English and Spanish and will close on June 30, 2022. City residents can take the survey online at www.saspeakup.com or by calling 311. The City will participate in several pop-up survey events throughout the community to gather input from residents.

Feedback shared through the survey will be provided to City staff and City Council to guide the development of the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget. The City Manager will present a proposed budget on August 11, 2022. Following this, the City will host a series of community meetings with the Council to gather additional community input. The City Council will then adopt the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget on September 15, 2022.

Residents can stay updated by visiting www.saspeakup.com for upcoming dates and times or by calling 311.
