Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney.

Rachel Curtin, aged 48, was last seen at an address on York Street, Glebe, about 8am yesterday (Thursday 30 June 2022).

When she failed to return home that evening, family members contacted police, with officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command commencing inquiries to locate her.

Police and family hold concerns for Rachel's welfare.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 150cm to 160cm tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Rachel is known to frequent the Glebe, Balmain and Sydney CBD areas.

If anyone sees or hears from Rachel, or anyone who may have seen her is urged to contact police immediately.
