Special exercise with the Southern Military District's NBCP specialists ended at Alagyaz high-mountain training ground in Armenia

Special exercise with soldiers of NBC protection military base of the Southern Military District (SMD) has ended at Alagyaz high-mountain training ground in Armenia.

During the main phase of the exercise, specialists provided camouflage for weapons, military and special equipment, the fleet of combat vehicles and command posts. The aerosol countermeasures unit deployed a system of camouflage and protection posts on the ground, creating an aerosol screen.

The servicemen of the Southern Military District also practised a number of tasks involving the carrying out of NBC reconnaissance, identification of toxic substances in the environment, containment of the consequences of contaminated terrain, decontamination and decontamination of weapons and military equipment and first aid in case of asphyxiation by poisonous substances and burns.

In addition, on modern reconnaissance chemical vehicles RHM-6, the specialists carried out tasks in tactical and specialised training, driving vehicles with aerosol countermeasures against visual control and tracking means of the conditional enemy in the daytime and at night.

The special exercise involved NBC reconnaissance vehicles and other special equipment and weapons.
