Helicopter pilots of the Central Military District have worked out night flights in the sky near Novosibirsk

Crews of Mi-8AMTSh-V Terminator transport and combat helicopters of the Central Military District (CMD) have worked out night flights using night vision devices in the Novosibirsk region.

Military pilots performed flights in conditions of limited visibility with helicopters landing on unprepared sites using navigation devices.

In addition, helicopter pilots flew at extremely low altitudes - up to 50 meters above the ground, which make it possible to hide combat vehicles from enemy fire as much as possible, using natural terrain covers.

More than 10 Mi-8AMTSh-V helicopters were involved in training flights of transport aviation.
