Solomon Airlines confirms next flight between Tarawa and Brisbane scheduled for 6 June

Solomon Airlines has advised the next flight available for sale between Tarawa and Brisbane will now be departing on Monday 6 June 2022, subject to Government approvals.

Flight IE693 will depart on Monday 6 June, leaving from Tarawa at 11:00am, and arriving in Brisbane at 2:00pm.

Passengers intending to book must have a visa to enter Australia or a transit visa and another flight departure within 72 hours of arrival. Passengers who are transiting in Australia within 8 hours to another country, may not require a visa but will need to advise of their connecting flight at the time of booking.

The airline urges all transit passengers to check the Australian Government website to confirm if a transit visa is needed, and to check with their connecting airline or country of final destination for all required testing and documentation, as this will be required upon check-in in Tarawa.

The Australian Government requires that all passengers entering Australia have Government-issued proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a Digital Passenger Declaration completed within 72 hours prior to departure.
