The parties discussed current issues of strengthening and enhancing cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, educational and other spheres.
Proposals for increasing interaction in agriculture, light industry, innovation, energy and the development of a green economy were considered.
The Ambassador noted that the British government supports the large-scale reforms carried out in recent years in Uzbekistan in all spheres of society.
The parties exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan and expressed mutual interest in continuing bilateral consultations on Afghan issues.
