Cleary Gottlieb has received China Business Law Journal's Deal of the Year awards for its work on OPUS Group's Hong Kong IPO and SenseTime's series of C/C+ round financing.
Cleary was Hong Kong legal counsel in the first-of-its-kind scheme of arrangement for Australian printing solutions and services provider OPUS Group, helping to move the listing venue of newly incorporated Bermudan holding entity Left Field Printing Group from the Australian Securities Exchange to the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Cleary was also legal counsel to investors in April and May of 2018 when SenseTime completed a series C and C+ round of financing with a value of $600 million and $620 million, respectively, which brought the company's value to $4.5 billion-considered to be the highest-valued unicorn in the artificial intelligence field.
