Bowie State Premieres Amazon Prime College Tour Episode

(BOWIE, Md.) - Bowie State University premiered its upcoming episode of the Amazon Prime College Tour with a red-carpet event on May 2 at the Student Center theatre to celebrate the 10 BSU students featured in the streaming series, which showcases colleges and universities through the perspectives of current students. Bowie State's episode will be available to stream on Amazon Prime starting May 28.

As part of the College Tour series, Bowie State's episode offers timeless insight into the institution and the transformative Bowie Bold experience. By streaming on Amazon Prime, prospective students across the country can immerse themselves in the university's atmosphere through the lens of current students and gain a deep understanding of the opportunities and supportive campus environment that makes Bowie State unique.

The episode features 10 students from different academic backgrounds who shared their stories to showcase the diverse talents and varied paths that Bowie State students pursue in their journey to personal and career success.

"Working with the College Tour and Amazon Prime is a great experience no student would want to turn down," said Mi'Jan Credle, a senior communications major with a broadcast journalism concentration from Prince George's County, MD. "Having the opportunity to share my story and knowing that it could affect someone else in a positive way and up lift their spirits when they come to Bowie State…you can't pass on the opportunity."

Bowie State will also screen the episode this weekend during a special event that brings prospective students and parents to campus. They will have a chance to talk with the cast members and tour the campus, to get a flavor of what it means to be part of the Bulldog family.
