Latest Hurricane Debris Removal Update

As of Thursday, April 18, Crowder Gulf Company had removed more than 155 trees inside of the city limits and more than 1770 county wide. They have also been trimming hanging branches and have already cut back over 17,000 branches countywide. Due to the inclement weather that moved into our region today, they have halted work through the Easter weekend.

They will resume trimming Tuesday and will mobilize their debris removal trucks at that time as well. Crowder Gulf will make one pass through all city streets to remove hurricane related debris that was geo tagged as of March 20. Vegetative debris must remain separate from building materials in order to be picked up. They anticipate this will take approximately one month to complete.

The city and county governments are appreciative of your continued patience as we complete Hurricane Michael clean up.
