Higgins Votes Against Democrats’ Partisan Policing Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 1280, Democrats' misguided police reform bill.

'Democrats' anti-police bill would legislate many of America's best, most experienced street cops out of law enforcement. Their bill makes our communities less safe, puts cops at greater risk, and injures the endeavor to protect and serve. This bill is ignorant of the street-level realities that law enforcement officers face. I stand with my Brothers and Sisters of the Thin Blue Line and will vote against these misguided reforms.'
