The Man Shot and Critically Injured Last Week on Dickerson Pike has died September 24, 2021

The man critically injured on September 14 after he was shot in the 2400 block of Dickerson Pike has died from his injuries.

Gerri Barbee, 30, of Nashville, was found by responding officers lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died today. The MNPD's Homicide Unit is now leading the investigation.

The motive for the shooting remains undetermined.
