Abazović: One of Government's priorities is to solve murder of Duško Jovanović

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Minister of Justice Marko Kovač laid a wreath at the place where Editor-in-Chief of Dan Duško Jovanović was murdered.

On that occasion, he said that solving this murder and revealing its instigators is one of the main priorities of the new Government, that the Government will provide full support to the Prosecution in that sense.

The Prime Minister said that this is an issue that burdens the Government, the citizens of Montenegro and his family. He expressed hope that the new Prosecutor's Office will do what the predecessors did not do and should have done, and that is to shed light on this case. PM Abazović added that the Government is ready to ask foreign experts to help solve the failed investigation into the murder.

He pointed out that solving this murder is not just a matter of the truth about the loss of one human life.

PM Abazović stressed that solving this case is a matter of creating a climate in which the media can work freely. It is a matter of fighting against organised crime and creating a society that does not want to bear the burden of the past.
