The City's Donation Drive-Thru was the one-day donation and recycling event on Sunday, July 24, 2022, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Chauncey Swan parking ramp.
In a span of four hours, over four tons (approximately 8,246 pounds) of materials were saved from the landfill and diverted through recycling and donation programs. Below is a recap of materials diverted at the event with estimated weights.

The event was meant to support local residents moving during the lease-turnover time at the end of July by providing disposal options for common or problematic items when moving.

We sincerely thank our staff, volunteers, and sponsors who supported this event! Thank you to our local non-profit partners that received event donations, including Antelope Lending Library, Crowded Closet, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Houses into Homes, and Table to Table.
