NEXT WEEK: Hearing on the Implications of the Dynamic Terrorism Landscape

(WASHINGTON) - On Wednesday, February 2nd, the Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), will hold a virtual hearing to examine the dynamic terrorism threat landscape, hear from witnesses about how violent extremist ideologies are converging, and assess the role of digital media and misinformation in domestic terrorism radicalization and extremism. While terrorist actors espousing violent Islamist ideologies continue to pose a threat, the greatest terrorism threats to the homeland today are posed by domestic violent extremists, particularly those who promote a violent white supremacy ideology.

This hearing will be streamed live on YouTube and on our website.
