As SCOTUS Begins Case on Mississippi Abortion Ban, GOP Candidates in NH-01 Are Threat To Reproductive Rights

Today, the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, a challenge to a Mississippi law that bans abortion at 15 weeks of pregnancy - which could unravel the constitutional right to abortion guaranteed by Roe v. Wade. Should this extreme law be upheld, 26 states could move to ban the right to abortion, and individuals across the country could have 50 years of precedent and constitutionally-secured rights stripped away from them.

This Mississippi law is just one of the latest attacks on a woman's right to make her own decision about her body. Republican extremism at every level of government is to blame for the continued threat to women's freedoms and health care.

The NH-01 GOP primary candidates are anti-abortion radicals who would be a direct threat to women's health care if elected.

DCCC Spokesperson James Singer
"If elected, these candidates will join extreme Republicans in voting to ban abortion for millions of women. These anti-abortion extremists cannot be trusted and are a direct threat to women's reproductive rights in the Granite State."
