Everest Honored with Top Inside P&C Honors Including Hybrid Insurer of the Year, Bermuda Reinsurer of the Year, Bermuda Insurer of the Year and Diversity & Inclusion Award

WARREN, New Jersey - September 29, 2022 - Everest Re Group, Ltd. ("Everest") (NYSE: RE) today announced it received top honors at the Inside P&C Honors awards last night. Inside P&C Honors awarded Everest with the Hybrid Insurer of the Year award, which is an award that the editors designate and celebrates the outstanding achievements and exceptional talent from the U.S. wholesale, specialty and (re)insurance markets. Everest was also honored to receive the Bermuda Reinsurer of the Year, Bermuda Insurer of the Year, and the Diversity & Inclusion awards by Inside P&C Honors.

As one of the top three mortgage reinsurers, Everest Reinsurance (Bermuda) Ltd. has been bestowed the award for creating a reinsurance product that works with both government-sponsored enterprises (GSE) and private mortgage insurers (PMI) to effectively supports the U.S. mortgage system.

The Bermuda Insurer of the Year honors the work of a Bermuda-based insurer that demonstrated excellence in the past year and Everest Insurance^® Bermuda was recognized for leveraging Bermuda's jurisdictional insurability advantages and serving the unique and evolving needs of customers by creating solutions that help Directors and Officers lead through an evolving risk landscape.

Everest was also presented with Inside P&C Honors' Diversity & Inclusion Award, which recognizes a company in the industry that's committed to furthering inclusion and diversity by actively improving the opportunities and advancement of inclusivity and socio-economic diversity in the industry. Everest's multiprong approach, including the establishment of a DEI Council and multiple Employee Resource Groups, has helped to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

Winners were selected from more than 140 entries and announced during a live ceremony that took place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
