Less Than 48 Hours After Brutal Elementary School Massacre, CO-07 Republicans Auctioning off an AR-15

The Colorado Times Recorder reported Wednesday that Colorado Republicans are proudly auctioning off an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle at their 'Big Tent' event coming up on June 11th. By attending, GOP candidates for CO-07 Erik Aadland, Laurel Imer, and Tim Reichert are unabashedly supporting the cult of violence responsible for the tragedies plaguing our nation.

Despite the fact that 90% of Americans support universal background checks and two thirds support banning assault weapons, Erik Aadland, Laurel Imer, and Tim Reichert are doubling down on their allegiance to the gun lobby over community safety.

"Just when you thought the GOP candidates for CO-07 had hit moral rock bottom, they manage to go lower," DCCC Spokesperson Maddy Mundy. "Erik Aadland, Laurel Imer, and Tim Reichert must denounce this event and refuse any money raised off this barbaric auction."
