NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 28714

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Norton Sound Seafood Products, PO Box 906, Nome, Alaska 99762, applied for a permit to appropriate water on September 19, 2012. The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of up to 38,000 gallons/day from June 1st through November 30th each year from the Snake River for a commercial fish processing plant located within Lot 1 of Nome Small Boat Harbor Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof, filed under Plat No. 2000-8, Nome Recording District, Second Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on May 4, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
