Collaboration between ENEL X and Gogoro in the electric mobility sector

Enel X and Gogoro, a leading Taiwanese company in sustainable mobility (electric scooters), have announced a partnership to integrate Gogoro's electricity network, managed by the state-owned Taiwan Power Company (TPC), with more than 2,100 battery recharging/replacement stations with nearly 1.3 GWh of power. This integration supports the Taiwanese electricity grid with an additional resource that can be managed by Enel X as part of the provision of demand-response services via virtual generating stations that it has been carrying out on behalf of TPC since June last year. This announced collaboration strengthens Enel X's profile as a leading international company in the energy resource aggregation sector and contributes to Taiwan's commitment to promote decarbonisation and the transition to renewable energy, while also accelerating the electrification of transport through advanced sustainable mobility programmes.
