CarAdvice join the search for Takata airbags

Join CarAdvice National Motoring Editor Josh Dowling as he travels with Takata airbag replacement technicians, journeying to the furthest reaches of Australia to replace dangerous airbag inflators. Heading to remote communities, distant islands and desert stretches, the journey underscores the efforts and commitment vehicle brands are undertaking to identify and replace recalled Takata airbags, no matter where they have ended up.

'So far, 3.4 million airbags have been replaced in 2.8 million cars in Australia. However, more than 400,000 potentially deadly airbags remain on our roads, and they are becoming harder to find…'
