Joint crews of Russia and Serbia performed combat maneuvers and flights in pairs at the BARS 2021 exercise

As part of the BARS 2021 Russian-Serbian tactical flight exercise, the joint crews of the MiG-29 fighters performed takeoffs and landings as part of a pair, as well as combat maneuvering in the entire altitude range.

In course of performing combat training missions, the pilots performed elements of short-range maneuverable air combat, including offensive and defensive tactics.

According to the plan of the episode, the takeoff and landing of the crews was carried out by a pair of the duty forces.

The exercise involves joint crews of the two countries on MiG-29 airplanes and Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters. There are up to ten aircraft of Serbian Air Force and Air Defence.

As part of the exercise, the flight crew will practice combat maneuvering and air combat as part of a pair, performing low-speed attacks on MiG-29 fighters, landing and evacuating those in distress, complex aerobatics, combat use and other tasks as intended using Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters.
