Tucson, AZ - Sections of the Bajada Loop in Saguaro National Park's Tucson Mountain District (west) will once again be closed between October 28th - November 10th.

This closure does not include the Sus Picnic Area, which may be accessed via Hohokam Road. That road will be closed at the gate just after the access road to the Sus Picnic Area. No vehicle or bicycle access to Signal Hill will be permissible until November 11th. More information will be available in the park's Red Hills Visitor Center.

The park advises that there will be heavy machinery, large trucks, and construction traffic moving in both directions on the one lane road. It will not be safe for anyone to be in the area if they are not part of the construction project. Additionally, the park encourages visitors to use extreme caution and expect loose gravel on the roadway for some weeks after the Loop is reopened.
