Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Celebrates Virtual National Park Week 2021

OMAHA, NE - Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail will celebrate National Park Week  April 17-25, 2021. We encourage you to participate in one of our virtual activities to help you celebrate National Park Week.

Online Junior Ranger
On April 24th, the National Park Service celebrates Junior Ranger Day! Celebrate by becoming a Lewis and Clark Trail Online Junior Ranger. Visit the interactive page, complete the activities, and print out your new badge!

Virtual Learning Series - Fridays with a Ranger
Put on your hiking boots, or your slippers will do...Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail invites you on a virtual adventure: Fridays with a Ranger. Journey along with our park rangers every Friday as they take you through the landscapes, animals, wildlife, people, and more of Lewis and Clark's world then and now.

Here's another reason to cozy up at home: You can explore all 4,900 miles of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail from your living room. Color the Trail
Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Color the Trail series invites you to get to know species of the Trail as you enjoy charismatic coloring pages. Color the Trail: Animals features creatures of the Trail and their names in Chinuk Wawa, Lakota, Arikara, Shoshoni, Osage, Hidatsa, Blackfoot, Nimipuutimt, and Mandan.  Color the Trail: Birds describes species with passages from the Journals of Lewis and Clark. Learn, enjoy, and get creative!

The 4,900 miles of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail traverses the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
