Headliners announced for Western Days

The City of Lewisville is proud to announce Randy Rogers Band and Gary Allan will return to Lewisville to headline the annual Western Days festival, September 23-24, in Old Town Lewisville.

Randy Rogers Band (randyrogersband.com) will be the featured act on Friday night, taking the Republic Services Main Stage at 10 p.m.

Randy Rogers Band formed in 2000 in San Marcos and burst onto the scene with its debut album, Live at Cheatham Street Warehouse. The band is a unique brotherhood fueled by a shared passion for making great music and strong commitment to each other. Randy Rogers Band is touring in support of its 11th album, Hellbent, a high-octane collection of songs buoyed by the same fearless spirit and sense of camaraderie that made them one of country music's most compelling bands.

Saturday's headliner will be Gary Allan (garyallan.com), closing out the weekend festival at 10 p.m. on the Republic Services Main Stage.

Allan has won over fans, peers, and critics with his signature blend of smoldering vocals, rebellious lyrics, and raucous live performances. Coming out of California nearly 25 years ago, Allan has built his career with songs that draw on raw emotion and cutting lyrics about real life and that has never been more true than on his 10th studio album, Ruthless.

Ruthless is an old-school, West Coast tell-it-like-it-is, modern as all hell album that lives off the literary chops of country songwriting immemorial. Yet, it intertwines finely the innovations of Nashville in the '90s with Nashville in 2022.

A list and schedule of additional acts will be released in the coming weeks.

This family-friendly event will feature live entertainment on five stages, an expanded Western Village sponsored by Frost Bank, Indigenous ACE Dance Troupe, Kid Kountry Playground, a mechanical bull, a working blacksmith, the MLE-sanctioned Padrino Foods World Tamale Eating Championship presented by Market Street, and many more exciting activities.
