Great Park Live Construction Begins

The City of Irvine has begun construction in the Western Sector of the Great Park, near the traffic circle at Corsair and Phantom and on the north and west sides of Parking Lot 2. The area previously known as the North Lawn, is being developed into a temporary amphitheater, Great Park Live. The temporary venue will open in summer 2024 and serve as a home for live music, community events, and as a food and beverage hub through the summer of 2026. This project will have minimal impacts on activities at the Great Park and nearby residential areas.

Construction activities will occur from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (including Memorial Day) through June 30, 2024. Construction is minimal and should not impact Great Park neighborhoods, motorists, or the use of the Great Park sports fields after school. City staff will be at the site daily to monitor and mitigate any unexpected situations.

For questions about project construction, call 949-724-6676 or email [email protected](link sends e-mail). For more information about development at the Great Park, visit greatparkframework.org(link is external).
