31.05.2021 (14:45)

At the Konstantinovna training ground in Penza region, the second stage of Gunsmith Master all-army competition was held, during which the best military gunsmiths were determined for anti-aircraft mounts. As a result, the leaders of the first stage of the competition - the teams of the Penza Artillery Engineering School and the Central Military District - retained their first and second places, respectively. The third place was taken by the command of the Northern Fleet, which overtook the Eastern Military District by a few seconds.

According to the conditions, the servicemen had to carry out an extreme towing of the damaged ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun from the conditional battlefield to the repair base and repair it. One of the difficult episodes of the competition was the towing of equipment for 5 km, overcoming a water barrier, a mound, a slope, an infected area of the terrain, as well as other artificial and natural obstacles.

In total, 8 teams take part in the competition, representing the military districts, the Penza Artillery School, the Airborne Troops and the Russian National Guard. The contest has 5 stages in total. The winners will be determined at the complex relay race of repair platoons, which will take place on June 4.
