Spokane Police Department, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Salish Safe Trails Task Force (SSTTF), safely recovered the victim from the Missing/Murdered Indigenous Person's (MMIP) alert that went out earlier this week. The suspect, 51 year-old Jospeh Parisien, is still outstanding. Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
At around 7:30pm today, April 29, 2024, officers from SPD along with agents from the SSTTF, were able to safely recover the victim from April 27th's MMIP. She was found in the area of Regal and 4th in east central Spokane and is currently safe in police custody.
The suspect in the MMIP, Joseph Parisien, is still outstanding. He's described as a native American male, 51 years of age, 5'10", approximately 180 lbs, shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen around 6pm tonight and is believed to be have been on foot, possibly wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees Parisien is asked to call 911. If you know of his whereabouts, you can call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 to provide that information.
