At the CSTO exercise in Kazan, the servicemen of the six countries jointly liberated a village captured by a mock enemy

The servicemen of the six countries successfully conducted a peacekeeping operation to liberate a settlement captured by a conditional bandit group, as part of the draw of the main stage of the exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Unbreakable Brotherhood - 2021 in Kazan.

The joint group carried out an operation in the shortest possible time to liberate the settlement, which was captured by a mock enemy. During the drawing, a battle in urban conditions requiring special tactics and skills was practiced, the storming of administrative buildings under the cover of Mi-24 attack helicopters and sniper pairs, the landing of special-purpose groups from Mi-8 helicopters on the roof of the administration building using the method of parachute-free landing on the halyards from a height of 35 meters, the release of hostages. Engineering assault units ensured the unhindered advance of combined arms units in urban development.

The joint exercise Unbreakable Brotherhood-2021 is held from November 8 to 12 at the training ground of the Kazan Higher Tank Command School under the overall leadership of the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin. It is attended by military contingents of six CSTO member countries as part of peacekeeping units, military police units, operational groups of the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat, formations of internal affairs bodies (police), national guards, as well as authorized bodies in the field of emergency prevention and response. In total, about 1,800 people and up to 300 pieces of equipment are involved, including Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters, Su-34 multifunctional fighter-bombers of the Central Military District.
