Units of Russian peacekeepers from the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO in Kazakhstan loaded military equipment into Il-76 and took off from Almaty

Today, IL-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces will deliver personnel and equipment of airborne units that have completed tasks as part of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO to Vostochny (Ulyanovsk region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) airfields.

Upon the arrival of the units at the airfields, their solemn meeting will be organized with the participation of the command of the airborne troops and family members of the arrived peacekeepers.

At the end of the solemn events, the personnel began unloading equipment and left for the permanent deployment point.

Earlier, units of Russian paratroopers from the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, who completed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out a flight by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny (Ivanovo region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) airfields and returned home.

Today having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, the peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan on military transport aircraft Il-76 of the Russian Aerospace Forces will return to their homeland. The unit of peacekeepers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on regular equipment on their own.

The return of the peacekeepers is scheduled to be completed by January 19.
