Following Buffalo Terrorist Attack, Maloney Votes to Combat Domestic Terrorism

Washington, D.C. -Today, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18)voted to pass H.R. 350, the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, legislation that will provide America's law enforcement agencies with the tools they need to better prevent and address the growing threat of domestic terrorism. Just this week, the country was reminded of the grave threat white supremacy and domestic terrorism pose to our communities following the racially-motivated terrorist attack in Buffalo.

"Every American deserves to feel safe in their community, whether they are attending school, shopping for groceries, or praying in a house of worship," said Rep. Maloney. "Today, just days after the heinous, racist terrorist attack in Buffalo, the House took action by passing the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, which will provide federal agencies with the resources they need to keep our communities safe."
