Tallahassee Police Make Arrest in Orange Avenue Shooting

Following a thorough investigation, the Tallahassee Police Department has made an arrest in the fatal shooting that occurred on July 25 at the Marathon Gas Station, located at 1143 W. Orange Ave.

On Dec. 2, the suspect was taken into custody and charged with premeditated murder. A search warrant was executed at the residence where the suspect was staying, and narcotics and several firearms were seized.

Investigators worked tirelessly to bring justice to the victim in this case, but it would not have been possible without the citizens who had the courage to cooperate and assist in moving the investigation forward, resulting in an arrest.
