Eiffage is pre-empting and surpassing the requirements of the French mobility orientation law (LOM) by installing more than 220 electric vehicle charging points in the car park[...]

Eiffage recently installed 180 additional electric charging points (90 twin charging stations) in the car park at its Vélizy-Villacoublay headquarters, in partnership with Covivio, the owner of this office building. These new charging stations feature accelerated charging capacity up to 22 kilowatts and are compatible with all rechargeable electric and hybrid vehicles on the market. Along with the 21 stations previously installed, they are available to all employees and visitors. The Eiffage Campus now boasts 222 charging points for 850 parking spaces.

Through this initiative, Eiffage is pre-empting and exceeding its obligations under the mobility orientation law (LOM), which requires the largest firms to equip at least one parking space in 20 with charging infrastructure by 2025.

The Group called on Nexans to supply and install the electric charging points and on Eiffage Énergie Systèmes for the cabling and power grid connection.

Eiffage has also committed to a plan to renew its company vehicle fleet, and now recommends electric or hybrid vehicles over those with thermal engines.

These actions contribute further to reducing the Group's carbon footprint.
