Kiama Council is asking Jamberoo residents for their ideas for the new playground at Reid Park.
The replacement of the old playground is the first stage of major upgrades of Jamberoo's sporting precinct, including Keith Irvine and Kevin Walsh ovals.
Residents who use Reid Park are invited to provide their ideas to Council's Landscape Officer via [email protected].
All suggestions will be balanced against available budget and safety standards.
The new playground is expected to be installed by May 2019.
Reid Park is one of five playgrounds being upgraded in the municipality this financial year.
Designs have been completed for playgrounds at Croft Place in Gerringong, Hillview Circuit in Kiama and James Muir Miller Reserve at Werri Beach, and they will be installed in early 2019.
Gerringong residents are also being encouraged to share their ideas for a new playground at Jubilee Park.
The $400,000 upgrade of playground equipment is part of the Operational and Delivery Plan 2018 - 2019.
Managing recreation and open space renewals is part of realising objective one of Kiama's Community Strategic Plan: A healthy, safe and inclusive community.
