The City of Mt. Angel is looking for an Administrative Assistant for the Police Department. This is a great career opportunity for a creative, team-oriented person with a strong public service commitment, attention to detail and skills in administrative support.
The Police Department Administrative Assistant position is a confidential employee who prepares confidential correspondence and maintains confidential records.
This position plans, organizes, schedules and may be tasked with implementing activities of the Police Department; coordinates a variety of business management duties requiring knowledge of department and citywide policies and procedures. The Administrative Assistant also performs diverse administrative support; works on projects that are sensitive and confidential in nature; processes and maintains departmental records; processes and maintain department evidence as assigned.
