stc signs a partnership agreement with the Royal Commission for Al-Ula to develop the digital services strategy

On the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh and under "Investing in Humanity" as the title of the fifth edition of this year, stc has signed a strategic partnership with the Royal Commission for Al-Ula to develop and empower the governorate digitally and provide a unique digital experience for its visitors so that it is a fully smart city for human service.
The agreement included the provision of digital solutions to support the infrastructure to maintain the highest standards, to build and develop an integrated roadmap for this transformation, and to apply the concepts of smart cities at the highest level in harmony with the projects of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula and its development plans. The partnership also included collaboration opportunities to provide ICT services and all technologies related to cloud services, cybersecurity, and 5G services in Al-Ula.
The CEO of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Eng. Amro bin Saleh Almadani, pointed out that the partnership with stc contributes, by planning and enhancing the digital infrastructure of smart cities, to achieve the Commission's objectives of improving services and improving quality of life for Al-Ula residents and people, in addition to providing the tourist with a unique interactive experience.
For his part, Chief Business Officer of Enterprise Business Unit Eng. Riyadh Muawad explained that this strategic partnership reflects stc's commitment to play its pivotal role in enabling and empowering digital transformation and providing digital solutions in various sectors in the Kingdom, pointing out that the governorate of Al-Ula is one of the main destinations in the Kingdom. We are also seeking with our partners in the Royal Commission for Al-Ula to achieving the desired transformation of the governorate of Al-Ula, while preserving its environmental and historical assets, transforming it into a digital city, focusing on infrastructure and tourism facilities, and ensuring a unique experience for its visitors.
