Bismarck Police Citizen Survey

The Bismarck Police Department is conducting its Biennial Citizen Survey. The survey will be launched today at 1:00 pm. The survey is conducted to determine citizens' attitudes

toward and opinions of the department, identify safety and security concerns, and to give the public the opportunity to offer suggestions for improvement. The input received from this

survey will be used when amending or adopting police community relations policies, procedures and programs and for performance improvement and strategic planning.

There are 41 questions on the survey asking for your opinion on multiple topics. The final question will allow you to express any additional comments you wish to provide. You will

not be asked your name or exact address, but Bismarck residents will be asked for the area in which they live. "The reason we need this information is if you note a concern or problem

in your neighborhood, we need to know what neighborhood you live in so we can better address that concern or problem", said Sergeant John Brocker

The survey is open to anyone 18 years or older whether you are a Bismarck resident or not. To take the survey, go to http://bit.ly/2021BPDCitizenSurvey The link can also be found on our
