Italy's economic diplomacy, 05 December: latest news from the world

DTT Industry Day
The DTT Industry Day will be held on 14 December at Villa Mondragone in Monte Porzio Catone, promoted by the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development ('ENEA') and dedicated to the Divertor Tokamak Test facility ('DTT'), a strategic facility for the development of nuclear fusion. The DDT project was created by ENEA in association with the National Research Council ('CNR'), the National Institute for Nuclear Physics ('INFN'), the RFX Consortium, CREATE and some of the most prestigious universities operating in this area to act as a link between the large international nuclear fusion projects ITER and DEMO and provide technological answers to very significant problematic issues. The Divertor Tokamak Test facility, to be built in Frascati, Italy, at the ENEA facilities, will be one of the biggest scientific-technological laboratories in Europe, envisaging public and private investments for 500 million euros. The first tenders will be launched in early 2019. Procurement opportunities provided by the project will be described at the event. To register:
