Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and India in Tashkent

On July 28, 2022, in Tashkent, within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and India in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields.

The parties also exchanged views on issues of the international and regional agenda and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of multilateral structures, in particular the SCO.
