Claire and Carl Watkins have started a new journey after moving to our Edlogan Wharf development in Sebastopol with their daughter, Tegan. The family settled into their new four-bedroom home in December and have since become part of the local community.
Claire, Carl and Tegan, who were previously living in a three-bedroom terraced house in Cwmbran, fell in love with the four-bedroom Langdale housetype on the third phase of our Edlogan Wharf development, Nyth y Dryw. Claire said: 'Since the development has gone up we were always impressed with the houses on the front row. We would drive past Edlogan Wharf and both myself and Carl felt that the style of the houses were a good fit for us.
'As soon as we walked inside the Langdale showhome, we knew it was the perfect place to call home. Carl believes that a 'kitchen is the heart of the home' and the design of the Langdale completely encompasses that. The sales team were so helpful every step of the way and no question was too big or too small which made the whole experience of buying a new home a joy.'
After discussing their options with the sales team, the family were able to utilise the Part-Exchange scheme which helped to accelerate the process. The Part-Exchange scheme helps customers to avoid the stress of putting their existing home on the market as the homebuilder will act as the buyer for their current property. Claire said: 'Choosing to use the Part-Exchange scheme was definitely the right decision for us and, so far, it has been the easiest part of moving home.'
The family's positive experience with our South Wales team, from the initial viewings right through to the aftercare, has made such an impact that they have been making recommendations to friends and family. Claire commented: 'We have recommended one of our friends who has now reserved a plot. We are positive that they will have the same exciting journey that we have had.'
Claire added: 'All of the houses on the development are beautiful and the location is just off of the canal which was the perfect finishing touch. The neighbourhood is becoming a tight knit community which is ideal for us and our daughter.'
