Three warships of the South Korean Navy make a business call to Vladivostok

Today, a detachment of warships of the naval forces of the Republic of Korea consisting of the minelayer 'Nampo' and tank landing ships 'Ilchulbong' and 'Cheon Ja Bong' arrived with a business call in Vladivostok. This visit was the fourteenth visit of the South Korean Navy ships to the capital of Primorye. The host ship of the visit is the corvette 'Sovershennyi'.

More than 1,100 South Korean servicemen arrived on board the South Korean ships, 640 of them are cadets from the army academies, as well as the national navy and air force.

At the Pacific Fleet's wharf, where the meeting ceremony was held, the flag of South Korea was solemnly hoisted, and the military orchestra of the fleet headquarters performed the national anthems of the two countries.

Rear Admiral Kang Dong Gil was welcomed by Rear Admiral Oleg Shastov on behalf of the command of the Pacific Fleet. . The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok O Song Han attended the ceremony.

Rear Admiral Kang Dong Gil made a brief statement to the Russian media.

The visit is planned to last until November 11.
